Rafting, hiking, and exploring the Amazon, horseback riding and mountain biking in the Andes. This program offers a complete 6-day package full of activities that includes 2 full days of cultural and natural activities in the Amazon rainforest with accommodation at community-run ecotourism projects, 1 full day of rafting in the Amazon in class III and III+ rapids, horseback riding on Peruvian Pasos, and mountain biking through Ecuador's premier Andean Park. All this complemented by stays at a renown Spa and a famous colonial hacienda in the highlands. The program includes private transportation as well as all meals. We do not offer a set cultural itinerary because each month of the year offers specific cultural demonstrations throughout the country. For example, the end of February marks the beginning of Carnival, one of Ecuador's most lavish annual affairs. Activities range from bullfights to parades, dancing in the streets, painting and theater exhibitions. Just like this example, many Ecuadorian traditions occur throughout the year.
