| Our experience selecting and breeding Peruvian Pasos has produced smooth horses of excellent temperament. We want to share with you this breed: eager to please the rider, spirited yet docile with great dignity and presence. Our programs are more than just riding tours. They combine the strength and gait of our Peruvian Pasos with our cultures and natural treasures, with one result: an unforgettable and unique experience!
Our selection of rides includes programs of varying length. No minimum group size is necessary to do the one-day programs based in our ranch. For all our other riding programs, we offer set departure dates throughout the year which are convenient for individual riders and small groups. At the same time, we can prepare non-scheduled private riding programs to suit a client's specific request.
We take pride in providing top-quality horses and personalized service. Our riding groups are always limited to 8 people plus 2-3 riding guides. To guarantee an unforgettable experience while taking care of safety, comfortability, and service, our groups are also accompanied by a provision vehicle with the rest of our staff, who will tend to your needs. This way we guarantee a unique adventure, ILALO style!

One - Day Rides
Antisana is the fourth highest mountain in Ecuador at 5,704 m.a.s.l. (18,710 feet). Located just 60 kilometers southeast of Quito, this volcano represents one of the most beautiful pristine areas of paramo in the highlands of Ecuador. Its natural isolation, lack of access roads, and the declaration in 1993 of the area as a Natural Preserve, have helped preserve this magnificent paramo full of wildlife and unmatched scenery. This program is designed as an introductory
learning course to the Peruvian Paso.
It is ideal for those people who only
have either a morning or an afternoon
available and want to ride a horse
without having to travel far from
Quito. It includes a visit to the
stables to see the show horses, studs
and broodmares, an introduction to
the Peruvian Paso, and a 1-1.5 hour
ride in the foothills of beautiful
Ilalo Volcano. Transportation is provided
from and to Quito. Snack, beverages,

course to the ILALO horse. It is ideal
for those people who want to experience
a one-day program. It includes a 3-4
hour ride to the top of beautiful
Ilalo Volcano, located only 30 minutes
from Quito. Transportation is provided

Alexander von Humboldt, the foremost natural scientist of the early 19th century, dedicated his life to exploring the Earth and understanding nature. Humboldt undertook two major expeditions to the New World between 1799 and 1804. Half a year of this 5-year exploration was spent at Quito, where Humboldt studied several prominent volcanoes.
